NOSZA ( Non Profit Sector Analysis) Association’s main
goal
is the improvement of the legal environment for the
civil society.
NOSZA highlights the importance of the
independent, effective and
legitimate functioning of the
non profit organizations in a sustainable
environment. In
order to achieve these goals NOSZA analyses
and expound
the related current practices.
The Environment Management and law Association (EMLA) conducted several research projects on the legal environment of non profit organizations with a highlight on the questions of participatory democracy since 2001. In order to improve the analysis and research of the related legal environment EMLA has created a project under the name NOSZA ( Non Profit Sector Analysis). In the recent years NOSZA conducted several research and published various issues on the legal environment of the non profit sector.
Following the success of the previous years NOSZA no longer functions as a project, but continues its work as an association since 2006. The members of the association are the experts and researchers who participated in the former project studies. As the profile of NOSZA is different from the environmental protection oriented approach of EMLA the foundation of an independent association was reasonable.
Our longest and most well – known project so far is the creation of the “legislation” website (www.jogalkotas.hu). The site enables visitors to analyze and comment on the drafts waiting for decision from the competent ministries by collecting and releasing the timely drafts.
